About Lauren Ogle Dalokay

Lauren Ogle Dalokay, PCC, MAPP

Hello! I’m Lauren, the founder of CoachOgle. My mission is to improve the high performing professional’s well-being by using the science of positive psychology and the practical tools of coaching.

I made the shift to life coaching after 12 years of progressively senior marketing positions at major financial institutions. I coached thousands of Financial Advisors and Corporate Bankers on how to grow their business and build their personal brand.  However, something was missing. I wanted to help the sales force not only with business goals but also with life goals—as well-being is much more than a successful career. This was my inspiration for founding CoachOgle.

My journey lead me to University of Pennsylvania’s Master of Applied Positive Psychology program. There I studied the science of well-being with Dr. Martin Seligman, the founder of Positive Psychology, Dr. Angela Duckworth, the genius behind building “Grit,” among many other pioneers. They championed my research on evidence-based ways to live a more joyful and balanced life, alongside work and relationship conflicts. I’m very grateful to be able to coach employees through life’s challenges and prevent burnout. I truly love what I do.

I moved out of New York City and now live in Connecticut with my husband, two children and dog.   I’m currently pursuing my doctorate in Clinical Psychology to merge the old and new sciences of well-being.

My adventures in education:

  • Current Student, Psy.D., Clinical Psychology
  • Professional Certified Coach, accredited by the ICF.
  • Rutgers University, B.A. in journalism and media studies.
  • Stevens Institute of Technology, M.I.S.
  • University of Pennsylvania, M.A.P.P.
  • Series 7, 63 and 24 FINRA securities licenses
  • Mothering, two kids and a dog
